I'm Nicki, a Shropshire based documentary wedding photographer who is passionate about capturing genuine, unscripted moments on your wedding day. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, ensuring you and your guests feel at ease while I capture the laughter, tears and everything in between.
Your wedding day isn't a photo shoot - it's a story unfolding in real time. My approach is simple: capture it as it happens.
I focus on real emotions and genuine interactions - the laughter, the happy tears and the quiet glances and the smaller details.
There is minimal posing when it comes to your couples photos, instead I let moments guide you, and give gentle guidance only when needed.
I work quietly in the background, allowing you and your guests to stay present while I document your day as it organically unfolds.

WHAT TO EXPECT
1. WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BOOKING WITH ME:
From the moment you get in touch, I am here to make the experience of booking your wedding photographer as effortless and enjoyable as possible. Once you reach out to me, we will begin with a relaxed chat to get to know each other and chat through your vision for your day. We can either meet in person or arrange to have a chat over a video call. This is a no pressure conversation where you can ask questions and tell me about the plans for your big day.
2. BOOKING YOUR DATE:
If you decide to move forward with your booking I will send over a booking form with terms and conditions. and an invoice. A £200 booking fee secures your date, and once that is settled, we're all set.
3. PRE WEDDING SHOOT:
To help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and know what to expect, I offer a complimentary pre-wedding shoot. It's fun and informal that allows us to connect further and will help ease any camera nerves you may have before your big day.
4. FINAL CONSULTATION:
About a month before your wedding, we'll have a final catch up to talk through your timeline, group shots and any specific details you want captured. This ensures everything runs smoothly on the day.
5. YOUR WEDDING DAY:
On the day, my approach is natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. I focus on capturing genuine moments, emotions and the unique story of your day without interrupting the flow of events.
6. POST-WEDDING DELIVERY:
One week after your wedding, you will receive a private online gallery of previews for you to download, print and share. 3-4 weeks later you will then receive your full wedding gallery of all of your digital photographs along with your print release.
I am dedicated to making your wedding photography experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible, which will result in timeless photographs you will treasure forever.
Nicki was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She really understood our aim for the day and how we wanted our photo's to be. Nicki captured amazing candid photo's of us and our guests as well as making us feel at ease and guiding us through the more styled photos. It's amazing how most of the time we didn't even realise there were photographers there. We couldn't recommend Nicki enough!!

FAQ:
Q: What is your photography style?
A: I take a relaxed, documentary approach to weddings. This means I capture genuine, candid moments as they naturally unfold, rather than staging or posing too much. My aim is to tell the true story of your day filled with real emotions and laughter.
Q: How far in advance should we book you?
A: It is best to book your photographer as soon as you know your wedding date. Most couples book 12-18 months ahead and popular dates fill up quickly.
Q: How do we book you?
A: To confirm your booking I just ask you to complete a booking form and pay a £200 booking fee. The booking fee is deducted from the overall cost of your wedding package, with the reaming balance being due 4 weeks before your wedding date.
Q: Can we meet you before booking?
A: Absolutely, it's important to see if we're a good fit. I offer in person chat once a month at a local coffee shop or zoom calls, whichever is easiest for you. We will talk through your plans, and what you are looking for in your wedding photography and make sure we are the right fit for each other.
Q: How many hours of coverage do you provide?
A: I provide flexible options from part coverage to full day. Most couples choose full day coverage which provides between 8-10 hours of coverage starting at morning prep through to just after your first dance.

From start to finish Nicki was just amazing!! Thinking the whole day would be stressful she made it the most chilled day making sure we got all the photos we wanted and more! All communication before our wedding was amazing and she was so helpful with getting lists together of all photos we wanted!

Q: What happens if it rains?
A: Don't panic! Rainy days can make for some of the romantic and atmospheric photos. I always recommend coming prepared with a clear umbrella and a flexible mindset and I will work around the weather.
Q: How long before we receive our photos?
A: You will receive previews approximately one week after ryorui wedding day, so that you can relieve some highlights right away. Your full gallery will be delivered via a private online gallery 4-6 weeks after you wedding day.
Q: Will you pose us for photos?
A: Only when it's helpful will I provide gentle prompts! I will gently guide you during couples portraits to help you feel comfortable, but I avoid stiff or unnatural posing. The rest of your day, I blend into the background so you can enjoy your day with your guests without feeling like you're constantly being photographed.
Q: Do you do group shots?
A: Absolutely! While my focus is on candid storytelling, I understand how important group photos with family and friends are. I work with you beforehand to create a list so we can capture them efficiently and keep things relaxed on your wedding day.
Q: Do you travel outside of Shropshire?
A: Absolutely! I love to travel and travel costs are included in our services. The only expense that may arise is for overnight accommodation if your venue is more two hours away from Shropshire.
