ROWTON CASTLE || SCOTT & LAUREN

Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury, Shropshire is always a stunning wedding venue for a wedding, and Scott & Lauren's wedding day was no exception. My second photographer for the day was Jacqui from Jaycott Photography. We like to capture the real emotion that happens throughout a wedding day.

Lauren found her dream Stella York wedding dress at Shropshire Country Brides. The bridal preparations are always a very special moment to capture. Lauren's make up artist was Louise Humphreys (Make Up By Louise) and her hair was styled by Anna Beer.

I had the privilege of capturing the moment the bride's father saw her for the first time, just before walking her down the aisle.

I always like my second photographer to spend time with the groom and his family before the wedding ceremony. It gives the Groom the opportunity to relax in front of the camera before the ceremony. These stylish suits were supplied by Moss Bros.

Scott & Lauren were very lucky with the British weather for their special day. The sun was shining and was the perfect opportunity for an outdoor wedding ceremony - something that Rowton Castle do perfectly.

The florist, Wendy Shaw, arranged the bouquets and table decorations beautifully, using a mixture of pinks and foliage. They made a lovely touch to the whole day, tying together the overall delicate theme of the day.

The decorations used throughout the day matched the venue perfectly. They had a very elegant touch to them. Scott & Lauren's decorations were supplied by Wendy Shaw and Rowton Castle, as well as sourcing and purchasing their own decor items.

The wedding cake was made by the very talented Mother of the Bride. The simple but elegant design tied in so well with the whole theme of the day.

The first dance is the perfect way to kickstart the dance floor for the evening.
