Rowton Castle in Shrewsbury, Shropshire is consistently a beautiful setting for weddings, and Scott & Lauren's special day was no different. Jacqui from Jaycott Photography joined me as the second photographer. Our goal is to capture the genuine emotions that unfold during a wedding day.

Lauren found her dream Stella York wedding dress at Shropshire Country Brides. The bridal preparations are always a very special moment to capture. Lauren's make up artist was Louise Humphreys (Make Up By Louise) and her hair was styled by Anna Beer.

I had the privilege of capturing the moment the bride's father saw her for the first time, just before walking her down the aisle.

I always like my second photographer to spend time with the groom and his family before the wedding ceremony. It gives the Groom the opportunity to relax in front of the camera before the ceremony. These stylish suits were supplied by Moss Bros.

Scott and Lauren were quite fortunate with the British weather on their special day. The sun was shining, providing the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony, which Rowton Castle executes flawlessly.

The florist, Wendy Shaw, arranged the bouquets and table decorations beautifully, using a mixture of pinks and foliage. They made a lovely touch to the whole day, tying together the overall delicate theme of the day.

The decorations used throughout the day complemented the venue perfectly, exuding an elegant touch. Scott and Lauren's decorations were provided by Wendy Shaw and Rowton Castle, along with their own sourced and purchased decor items.

The wedding cake was made by the very talented Mother of the Bride. The simple but elegant design tied in so well with the whole theme of the day.

The first dance is the perfect way to kickstart the dance floor for the evening.
