Hi, I’m Nicki.
Photographer, storyteller & fellow camera-dodger.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and for over 10 years I’ve had the absolute joy of photographing people on one of the biggest days of their lives.
And despite spending my life behind a camera, point one at me and I become extremely awkward, extremely quickly.
So if the thought of having your photograph taken makes you a little nervous, I really do get it.
You don’t need to be “good”
at having your photo taken.
You don't need to know where to put your hands, practise your poses or spend your wedding day wondering what the camera is doing.
My job is to help you feel comfortable enough that, eventually, you stop thinking about it altogether.
I'll offer a little guidance when you need it, then give you the space to laugh, chat, hug your people and actually enjoy your wedding.
That’s where the best photographs happen.

What's it like having me as your wedding photographer?
I photograph weddings in a natural, documentary way, capturing the day as it unfolds rather than constantly interrupting it.
Of course, there are moments when I'll step in. We'll get those important group photographs, and I'll whisk the two of you away for some relaxed couple photos - but even then, you won't be expected to stand there awkwardly posing.
Think of it as a little breather together in the middle of a very busy day.
The rest of the time? You enjoy yourselves. I'll keep an eye on everything else.
Come exactly as you are
Your wedding doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.
However you celebrate, whoever you love and whatever makes your day feel like you, you’re welcome here.
There’s no pressure to perform, follow traditions that don’t feel right or be anything other than yourselves.
I want you to feel comfortable, accepted and completely at ease from the first email to the final gallery.
Because the best photographs happen when you feel free to be yourselves.
