Hey there! Congratulations on your engagement! I'm so happy that you are considering Nicki Jones Photography to capture your wedding day!
I know how overwhelming it can be planning a wedding and how many choices you have when it comes to choosing your wedding photographer, and the importance of choosing the right person to document one of the most important days of your lives.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I am Nicki, mother of cats, reader of books, walker of hills and taker of photographs and I am the face behind the camera over here at Nicki Jones Photography.
My love of photography started many years ago, over 30 to be exact, which led me to study photography at college and then also University. I fell in love with the process of developing my own film and printing my own prints, watching them develop before my eyes whilst standing in a darkroom.
When I'm not capturing beautiful wedding moments, I enjoy exploring new places, traveling, and spending time with my furry friends while reading or watching TV.

WHAT TO EXPECT
My style and approach to photographing weddings is natural, relaxed and unobtrusive. My main aim is to help make your wedding day as enjoyable for you as possible for you whilst capturing beautiful, unique images that tell the story of your day, are a true reflection of you as a couple and which will last for years to come.
My approach is informal and relaxed, I capture your day through documentary photography, whilst keeping formal photographs to a minimum. This enables me to capture your day as it naturally happens and allows you and your guests to enjoy your wedding day to it's fullest.
I aim to provide my clients with a mixture of photographs from their day which includes the details of their venue, candid photographs throughout the day, a handful of group photographs and your couples photos as well.

Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?
A: With years of training and experience under my belt, I know how to help clients relax and feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I am a huge fan of using natural light and prefer to use this as often as possible and make sure my sessions are intimate & fun!
Q: Will we get the print release to our photos after our wedding?
A: Yes! Upon receiving your images, a full print release willbe included in yrou downloadable gallery.
Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?
A: Two photographers are included in my full day photography package and a single photographer is included with half day and ceremony only coverage. You are more than welcome to add a second photographer to these packages. Please see Additional Extras info for pricing.
Q: Why do you have a second photographer included in your all day package?
A: By having a second photographer, it means that we are able to cover your day from two different view points, it also means that my second photographer is also able to cover different aspects of your wedding day that I wouldn't be able to with being the main photographer. For example: when I have whisked you away from your guests for an hour to take your first photographs as newly weds, my second photographer will remain with your guests and capture those all important candid moments of them enjoying your day which you would otherwise miss. My second photographer and I work both as a team and individually on your day ensuring that you receive the best selection of photographs possible.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: I offer two types of wedding coverage, wedding photography and I have also teamed up with a local videographer and we offer a small discount when we are both booked for the same wedding at teh same time.

Q: Do you have a list of preferred vendors you can recommend?
A: Yes! From wedding planners to florists and caterers, we have worked with some of the best companies in the industry. Once your booking is confirmed, I would love to share their information with you!
Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?
A: Minor edits will be made to your images but only if I feel this is needed, this would only be for a small blemish or stray hair. I do not over edit my photos and will never edit you to slim you down or adjust how you look. Specific editing requests can be made for example editing a guest out of your photos however, these will be charged separately at an additional cost.
Q: What equipment do you use?
A: I use all of the latest professional equipment. I always carry two Canon R6 cameras with me and shoot with a 35mm, 105mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm and lenses among other items.
Q: Do you photograph travel to photograph weddings?
A: Yes! I’ve shot many weddings outside of ShropshirE and am more than happy to create a custom wedding package to suit your travel needs.
Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?
A: I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. However, social media is an important part of promoting my business, so I’d love to show off you & your images, if you’re game! If not, that's okay, too.
Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?
A: If you are ready to secure your booking, a booking fee of £200 and a completed / signed booking form is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar. The remainder of your balance is due one mothprior to your wedding date.
