Bromwich Park Farm is a beautiful rustic DIY-style wedding venue on the outskirts of Oswestry, Shropshire. Jake and Sarah were able to add their own touches to the venue, making is unique to them and their special day. Louise Powell Photography joined me on the day as my second photographer and allowed me to be able to capture an overview of such a fun wedding.
Jake and Sarah put a huge amount of thought into their special day. They even made the majority of the decorations themselves. The natural colours of the wood and foliage were reflected through every aspect of the day. There were so many beautiful elements to photograph, from the table decorations to the sweet jars that they had to offer guests.
The bride and her bridesmaids had so much fun getting ready before the ceremony. Their hair was beautifully styled by Hannah Young, of Radiant Hair.
The bridesmaid dresses worked great with the whole theme of the day and really stood out from the crowd.
Despite a shower here and there, the bride and groom still managed to have an outdoor ceremony in the farm setting of Bromwich Park. Their guests didn't let the rain put them off from enjoying the day.
The flowers were simply stunning - the simple colouring of the roses and white veronica stood out from the green foliage. The bouquet paired so well with Sarah's delicately detailed dress.
Jake found his suit at Majors in Oswestry town centre. His tweed waistcoat was the perfect touch for their rustic wedding venue.
A confetti shot is always on my to-do list! I find they really capture the joy of the day with everyone smiling in the most natural way.
The speeches are often very memorable at a wedding. I love capturing the raw emotion, love and laughter that happens during this part of the day.
Throughout the whole day, Jake & Sarah's wedding guest enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the day. This continued into the evening, where a live band provided the entertainment. A great end to a lovely summer wedding.
