Choosing a wedding photographer isn’t just about loving the photos, it’s about trusting the person who’ll be with you for most of your wedding day.

So what is it actually like having me as your wedding photographer?

Before the wedding

From the start, my role is to make things feel easy. I’m not here to overwhelm you with endless questionnaires or complicated processes. We’ll chat about what matters to you, how your day will flow, and anything you’re nervous about, especially if being photographed isn’t your favourite thing.

Most of my couples tell me they’re worried about feeling awkward. That’s completely normal, and it’s something I plan for from the beginning.

On your wedding day

On the day itself, I’m calm, unobtrusive, and quietly supportive. I’ll guide when needed, particularly during group photos or couple portraits, but for most of the day I blend into the background.

You won’t be constantly posed or interrupted. I focus on documenting moments as they happen: laughter, nerves, happy tears, and the in-between bits you didn’t even realise were happening.

If things run late, the weather changes, or plans shift (which they often do), I adapt without stress. You don’t need to manage me - I’ve got it covered.

During couple photos

This is usually the part couples worry about most. My approach is gentle and natural. No stiff posing, no forced smiles. I’ll give simple prompts, then let you be yourselves.

Most couples are surprised by how relaxed this part feels and how quickly it’s over.

After the wedding

You’ll receive a carefully curated gallery that tells the full story of your day, not just the highlights. The aim is always photos that feel honest, timeless, and true to you.
