Intimate Wedding Ceremony at The Guildhall in Shrewsbury

Megan & Cameron’s intimate wedding at The Guildhall in Shrewsbury was everything a small, meaningful celebration should be - relaxed, emotional, and full of genuine connection.

Set in the heart of Shrewsbury, The Guildhall provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. With just their closest people around them, the whole atmosphere felt incredibly personal. There’s something so special about intimate weddings, every moment feels intentional, every glance means more, and you’re really able to soak it all in.

Their ceremony was beautifully emotional. There were quiet smiles, happy tears, and those little in-between moments that often go unnoticed at bigger weddings but here, they were everything.

And then… the spring weather absolutely showed up for them!

After the ceremony, we made our way over to The Quarry for group photos and some relaxed couples portraits. Instead of anything too posed, we kept things natural, just a gentle wander through the park, letting them take it all in. This is always my favourite part of the day; no pressure, no awkward posing, just the two of them spending time together while I capture it as it unfolds.

Megan & Cameron were a little nervous about being in front of the camera (something I hear all the time!), but honestly you’d never know. They completely relaxed into it, and that’s when the magic happens.

Here’s what Megan & Cameron had to say after receiving their photos:

“Nicki is amazing! We both are so shy in front of the camera but were made to feel so comfortable and enjoyed every minute. The photos we received are so lovely and exactly what we had hoped for! Now we have amazing memories we can look back on through Nicki’s work!”

This is exactly why I do what I do creating a space where you can feel comfortable, be yourselves, and actually enjoy your wedding day.
