A palette of spring pastels


Working with a talented team of local suppliers, we created a colour story of soft pinks, whites, powder blue, buttery yellow and hints of lilac. Delicate meadow-style florals spilled from antique milk churns, while silk ribbons fluttered in the breeze along the ceremony aisle. Inside the barn, pastel taper candles and textured linens softened the timber beams, proving that country venues can be every bit as refined as a city loft.


Pastel doesn’t have to mean formal. We kept the vibe relaxed, encouraging our couple to explore the gazebo, courtyard and wildflower borders in their own time. By giving them space to move naturally, we captured genuine laughter, quick kisses and stolen glances, those storytelling moments that make documentary wedding photography so powerful. As golden spring sunlight filtered through fresh green leaves, every frame felt warm, romantic and utterly timeless.

Moat Hall Barns offers versatile backdrops whatever the weather. We staged an open-air ceremony beneath the oak pergola, framed by blossom-laden branches, then slipped inside for a wedding breakfast setup.


For couples' photos, we took full advantage of the courtyard, the covered bay, and the area by the lake. As you can see, this venue is a photographer's dream, demonstrating that Shropshire offers destination-worthy views right at your doorstep.
