A Beautiful Prize Won at Bangor-on-Dee Wedding Fayre

When Amy & Jon won a pre-wedding shoot at the Bangor-on-Dee Wedding Fayres hosted by Bouquet & Bells, I knew we were in for something special. We chose their wedding venue, Tyn Dŵr Hall in Dee Valley for their session: one of the most elegant and atmospheric venues in North Wales, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and natural set of photos.

Exploring the Grounds of Tyn Dŵr Hall


We spent the afternoon wandering the stunning grounds, chatting all things wedding planning and getting to know each other before their big day. As a Shropshire wedding photographer who loves working over the border too, Tyn Dŵr Hall is one of those places that feels magical in every season, with landscaped gardens, woodland paths and beautiful stone architecture to play with.

Bringing Their Dog Along for a Few Photos


One of my favourite parts of the shoot was when they brought along their gorgeous dog, who very quickly stole the show. A few relaxed, personality-filled photos with their pup added so much joy to the session — and it’s always lovely when couples bring something meaningful to them.

Why I Love Pre-Wedding Shoots


Pre-wedding shoots are such a brilliant way to feel comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding. You get chance to relax, be yourselves, and enjoy some quiet time together ahead of all the excitement. As a relaxed wedding photographer covering both Shropshire and North Wales, capturing these in-between moments is exactly why I love what I do.
